Razorpay requires a published refund and cancellation policy before a live account is activated. This page blocks payment go-live.
What this page must cover
- The cancellation window — free until when, exactly
- Charges applied per window (e.g. free >48h, one night <48h, no refund on no-show)
- How and when a refund is issued, and to which instrument
- Refund processing time, in working days
- Whether early departure is refundable
- How multi-stay bookings cancel — all segments, or one at a time?
- Peak-season or event-period exceptions
- Force-majeure handling
